A post last week – “The Corner Office: Where the ‘Girls’ Are” – illustrated the shift in CEOs who are female.
The gist of the piece?
The number of female CEOs is still small (as in too small); the type of industries (DuPont, Pepsi, etc.) in which they appear is now broad. Change, appears to be afoot.
To add to the mix, BusinessWeek has a piece on Home Depot’s rising star CEO Carol Tomé and her shot at the corner office.

Life Back West is an occasional set of writings focused on ways people, teams and organizations can be both more effective (doing the right thing) and more efficient (doing the right thing well).
